Burke Moses
was the original
Gaston in the Broadway production
of Beauty and the Beast, and also
made for an inspired Li'l Abner
several years ago in a concert revival
of the musical named for that comic
strip character.
Since then, the
muscle-bound actor has gone on
to replace Brian Stokes Mitchell
in Kiss Me, Kate. His best know
creditis Captain von Trapp in the
1998 Broadway revival of
The Sound of Music.
