Dmitri Guyvoronski was born in the suburbs of Moscow, Russia.
From an early age, Dmitri’s father, an engineer and artist, saw to it that
Dmitri received piano lessons. His childhood home was always filled with
every kind of music and he learned to love it all.
In St. Petersburg, Russia he earned undergraduate and graduate
degrees in music, piano, and theater. He studied at the prestigious
St. Petersburg Music Conservatoire. Dmitri formed a group called the
Neva River Eight. They played a wide range of music styles and toured
Europe and Scandinavia for several years.
Dmitri has performed at several music festivals in Europe and Scandinavia.
He is an award winner at the Rachmaninoff Festival in Russia, the Chopin
Festival in Poland and the Young People’s Music Festival in Copenhagen.
Dmitri has performed concerts on every continent and
has recorded several albums.
